Waiting for God’s Peace
| BIBLE BASIS: Isaiah 2:2–4, Acts 17:26–28
MEMORY VERSE “And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem” (Isaiah 2:3). LESSON AIM By the end of the lesson, we will: (1) Summarize the main points of Isaiah’s prophecy; (2) Explain how God’s peace is already present in the world but not fully manifest until Jesus returns; (3) Create a plan for fostering peace in a specific context where unresolved conflict exists. |
