The New Covenant of Faith

BIBLE BASIS: Mark 15:6–15, 25–39

MEMORY VERSE: “And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God” (Mark 15:39).

LESSON AIM: By the end of the lesson, we will: (1) Summarize Mark’s account of the crucifixion of Jesus; (2) Reflect on the amazing price Jesus paid to establish a new covenant between God and humankind; (3) Pray for a restored relationship with God in light of the reconciliation Jesus provides.
