Children: Gift and Model

BIBLE BASIS: Mark 9:36–37, 42; Mark 10:13–16

MEMORY VERSE: “Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it” (Mark 10:15).

LESSON AIM: By the end of the lesson, we will: (1) Summarize Jesus’ interactions with children in Mark 9 and 10; (2) Assess daily habits against Jesus’ invitation to become “like children”; (3) Repent of ways we have been like the disciples, rebuking the “least of these.”
