Bible Basis: Acts 1:6–8, 2 Corinthians 8:3–9

Memory Verse: “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9).

Lesson Aim: By the end of the lesson, we will:

Identify characteristics of the generosity highlighted in 2 Corinthians 8:3–9.
Explain the context of Paul’s financial collection among Gentile churches of the first century.
State one way he or she will practice generosity in the upcoming week.
