A NEW FUTURE
BIBLE BASIS: JEREMIAH 32:2-9, 14-15
BIBLE TRUTH: While Jerusalem was under siege, God instructed the prophet Jeremiah to purchase property as a sign that there was a future for the people and their land beyond defeat and exile.
MEMORY VERSE: “For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.” (Jeremiah 32:15).
LESSON AIM: By the end of the lesson, your students will:
- RETELL the hopefulness of Jeremiah’s purchase of a field while he awaits the invasion and siege of Jerusalem;
- APPRECIATE hope ad hopeful actions in the face of deep hardship;
- REVIEW our personal times of hardship in the past that held, and hold, hope for the future.
