Bible Basis: Titus 1:1-3, 2:11-15

Memory Verse: “The grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,”—Titus 2:11–13

Lesson Aims: After participating in this lesson, each learner will be able to:

1. Recall the “blessed hope.”
2. Contrast godly and ungodly lives of Paul’s day.
3. Make a plan to eliminate one ungodly element in his or her life.
