Bible Truth: Peter reminds us that we are called to live authentic lives of faith.
Memory Verse: “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:4
Lesson AIM: That we will DISCERN the importance of faith and the call of God to authentic life and godliness; CHERISH a life of faith in Christ after redemption from sinfulness; and PRACTICE the virtues of goodness, knowledge, self-control, endurance, godliness, mutual affection and love.

Bible Truth: Joshua and Caleb are the only spies who believe God’s promise to enter the land of Canaan.
Memory Verse: “If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.” Numbers 14:8
Lesson AIM: That we will: – EVALUATE the reasons for the Israelite’s refusal to listen to Joshua and Caleb; – DESIRE deeper trust in the promises of God; and – CONFRONT the future in confidence of God’s guidance and provision.
