In Awe of Christ’s Presence

Bible Basis: Matthew 14:22-36

Bible Truth: Matthew tells about the times when Jesus miraculously walked on water to meet His disciples in a boat, which led them to worship Him as truly the Son of God, and when Jesus healed the sick.

Lesson AIM: That we will

• REVIEW the disciples response to Jesus’ miracles.
• BE INSPIRED by the miracles of Jesus and
• YEARN to become faithful worshipers;
• BELIEVE in Jesus’ miracles and commit to being prayerful encouragers of others.

1. Summarize Zechariah’s prophecy

3. Identify any “wilderness” of preparation the learner is in and opportunities for growth.

Bible Truth: The psalmist and Isaiah tell God’s people that God, who reigns above, is their help, shield, and salvation, and that they can put their hope in God and rejoice.

• KNOW what God’s Word says about sharing our inheritance with all those who live among us;
• FEEL the importance of affirming and appreciating one another as children of God who have made, or can make, new beginnings together;

Bible Truth: In Ezekiel’s vision, water is the symbol of God’s presence and blessings that flow from God’s sanctuary and are available to the earth.
